AFI Development considers LSE listing
Wed, 20 Jan 2010, 14:33:00
Russian real estate developer
AFI Development
said it is considering listing its shares on the London Stock Exchange. The group's GDR's are currently trading on the LSE's regulated market for listed securities. 'We see encouraging signs of recovery in the Russian market and are resuming a number of our construction projects. We therefore look to 2010 as a year of potential growth for AFI Development,' said chief executive Alexander Khaldey. 'In this context, since the company has firmly established itself as one of the leading Russian developers, we strongly feel that a Premium Listing in London will be most appropriate for the company and will better reflect its achievements.'
