Alliance & Leicester bank is still offering customers £100 to switch to one of its premier
current accounts.
The bank says the offer is still open until March 7, after which the £100 will no longer be claimable, so anyone looking to take advantage of the generous offer should hurry.
The windfall will be due to anyone who opens a Premier
Current Account and transfers all their incomings, such as their salary, and their outgoings to the account. Helen Bierton, the head of
current accounts for the bank confirmed, "£100 is certainly available to anyone who switches their
current account to Alliance & Leicester's Premier
Current Account."
In addition to the £100 offer, the Premier
Current Account also carries other benefits. These include zero percent interest on arranged overdrafts for the first year, 0.5 per cent credit interest and free
travel insurance for multiple trips within Europe. The bank offers an account transfer service to take care of the complicated business of switching direct debits and other payments to the new account.
