China AgBank makes slow start

It was a lacklustre start for <b>Agricultural Bank of China</b>'s shares on their first trading day in Shanghai. Agricultural Bank of China, one of the top four commercial banks in China, ended its highly anticipated debut almost flat, finishing 0.8% higher at 2.70 yuan compared with its IPO offering at 2.68 yuan. The group's shares had been expected to gain as much as 5%. The second portion of the shares will begin trading in Hong Kong on Friday.
