Morgan Sindall in Gloucester contract award

Lovell, the affordable housing arm of <b>Morgan Sindall</b>, has won a five-year housing repairs and maintenance contract from Gloucester City Homes. The contract is worth £30m and requires Lovell to provide a proactive repairs service and deliver planned maintenance programmes on behalf of Gloucester City Homes (GCH), an organisation which manages 5,000 homes for Gloucester City Council. The contract starts in April 2010. Paul Smith, chief executive of Morgan Sindall, said the contract 'builds on the successful working partnership which has developed between GCH and Lovell from 2007, when work first commenced on GCH's Decent Homes programme.'
