Desalination group
Modern Water
said it had passed significant milestones towards commercialisation of its technologies in the year to December 31.
It said its Gibraltar plant is producing fresh water and that a second plant is due to be installed in Oman.
The firm had a cash balance of £26.8m on 31 December.
Mineral exploration firm
Kryso Resources
shot ahead after the due diligence by Vertex Mining Cyprus was completed, allowing it to proceed with the placing with Vertex to raise £2.56m.

Trafficmaster
reported a 15% rise in full-year revenue to £55.8m, though pre-tax profit was down 2% at £4.8m.
"Trafficmaster delivered an impressive performance in 2008, despite an increasingly difficult economic environment and, although we expect 2009 to bring many challenges, we believe that the company is in a strong position to continue its progress," said chief executive Tony Eales.

VivoMedica
slumped after it said it is looking to cancel its listing on AIM. The group said a general meeting will be held on 3 April, where a resolution to seek shareholder approval for the cancellation will be proposed.

saw losses widen in 2008 even as it lifted revenues by 25%.
Revenues climbed to $253m from $202m in 2007, but net losses grew to $7.8m from $6.1m in 2007. The Israel-based company, which sets up and manages wireless and fixed line networks, said the results came against a backdrop of a severe economic crisis.
"We see a difficult and challenging year ahead," said chief executive Arik Alcalay.

, a provider of mapping to the oil industry, jumped after it said it revenues for the six months to February 28 would climb by more than 30% from the previous year to £6.1m.
