Tesco moves into business market with new credit card
05/07/2006

Supermarket group Tesco is to start offering business credit cards, which are aimed at small businesses and traders.

The company's financial arm, Tesco Personal Finance, is making its first move into the business market.

According to Tesco, by using its business credit card, customers can spend less time worrying about their expenses and more time concentrating on work matters.

Tesco's website suggests that the "Tesco Business Card is the smart way to simplify your finances", by separating personal and work-related expenditure.

Benefits of the business credit card include reduced fuel costs via Tesco Fuel Reward points and free online access to personal statements and balances.

In addition, up to 56 days interest free credit is available with the card and there is a 14.9 per cent annual rate.

The business credit card also comes in two different designs, with the option of having both an individual name and the company's title etched onto the plastic.

Other cards offered by Tesco Personal Finance include the Bonus Credit Card and the Clubcard Credit Card, which offer customers zero per cent on purchases up until March 1st 2007
