Online travel and leisure retailer lastminute.com has launched a new credit card in partnership with MBNA and MasterCard.
The card includes a customer reward scheme where points are earned on all card purchases. Money spent with lastminute.com will garner two points per £1 spent, whilst all other purchases will accrue one point for every £1 spent.
There are also regular offers and discounts on travel and lifestyle products and experiences, such as theatres, restaurants and spas. The accrued reward points can be saved up and exchanged for vouchers via the lastminute.com site.
In addition, from the date the card is opened, users will get 0 per cent interest on all purchases for the first nine months. The new credit card also offers 0 per cent interest on balance transfers and money transfers for six months after the account is opened. It has a representative APR rate of 18.9 per cent variable.
