Halifax has launched a credit card that offers zero per cent interest on balance transfers and purchases.
The All In One Credit Card boasts the market leading rate for up to 15 months and will allow users to access some money saving advantages.
For example, a new Halifax customer transferring £3,000 from a competitor's credit card with a typical APR of 17.9 per cent would save hundreds of pounds in charges if they are able to pay off their debt within the 15 month period.
Commenting on the new product, Richard Washington, head of credit cards with the banking group, stated: “We are very pleased to be able to offer this market leading credit card, offering customers the flexibility of 0 per cent interest on balance transfers as well as purchases.
“With this new offering, we are making even more options available to customers, be it balance transfers, low rates or fee free cards.”
There are a number of additional benefits to the card, including cover against online fraud when purchasing something on the internet, card replacement if lost, no interest on purchases if every statement balance is paid in full by payment date and no annual fee on the service.
